AEA have a team of experienced software developers who produce and develop a wide range of bespoke and packaged software solutions. The software solutions combine our in-depth chemical knowledge with decades of experience supporting our customers’ response to emergency events and compliance with changing regulation.
Chemdata® has been continuously developed since 1983 and is used by Emergency Services worldwide, including all UK Fire Services. Chemdata® is also widely used by businesses as a chemical health and safety tool for use in training, COSHH and risk assessments, as well as first aid advice. The database contains more than 36,000 substances with 116,000 different chemical names, including pure and trade-name chemicals and is updated on a regular basis to include new information and to support regulatory/legislative changes.
The software is available in English, French, Dutch, German and Spanish and can be purchased as stand-alone product or can be integrated into your broader solution via our API version. Chemdata® can be brought for either a PC or PDA
Safety data sheets (SDS) and COSHH assessments are a key part of business operations for any company handling chemicals. This is due to strict regulations and legislation as well as for general health and safety of employees and consumers. However, keeping track of information for mandatory audit trails or communicating large amounts of detailed information to relevant individuals is very challenging.
ChemeDox®, a web-based or locally hosted solution, has been developed to help companies comply with legislation (including the new REACH and GHS/CLP Regulations), save time in managing your SDS inventory, and demonstrate best practices within your business and supply chain.
Our in-house software developers are available to customise the Chemedox product to meet your specific requirements and business processes.
